(Wall Street Journal) Editorial - Syria was supposedly immune to Arab contagion, but every Arab country is unhappy in its own way, and it turns out Syria is no different. The demonstrations and the Assad regime's bloody crackdown ought to give the champions of engagement pause. Rather than waste effort wooing Assad, the U.S. should support his domestic opponents at every opportunity.
