(AFP/Yahoo) The Palestinian territories could survive without aid from the EU and would find funding elsewhere, minister designate Omar Abdul Razeq told the Financial Times Deutschland. "The consequences will be serious but not catastrophic." The EU is by far the biggest donor to the Palestinians, but the bloc has made future help conditional on the new cabinet recognizing Israel's right to exist, forswearing violence, and accepting previously reached accords.
