(Ha'aretz) Amos Harel - IDF Staff Sergeant Ido Shapira, 20, was killed Thursday by Palestinian gunmen during an arrest raid in Jenin. The soldier was shot while IDF paratroopers surrounded a house and exchanged fire with five wanted Islamic Jihad and Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades gunmen inside. Also Thursday, Palestinian gunmen wounded two Israeli security guards on the road between Tapuah and Hawara in the West Bank.
