Hizballah Threatens Political Crisis in Lebanon in Aftermath of War

[MEMRI] H. Avraham - On October 31, 2006, Hizballah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah threatened to take to the streets and topple the Lebanese government. He stated that Hizballah could instigate civil disobedience and bring about the fall of the government "by tomorrow morning." He issued an ultimatum saying that Hizballah's demand to establish a national unity government must be accepted by November 13, 2006. Hizballah spokesman Hussein Rahal said the Siniora government would fall within a few weeks.
