(AP-Ha'aretz) Palestinian reporter Mamdouh Hamamreh said Saturday he faces trial for insulting a public figure after he put a picture on his Facebook page of President Mahmoud Abbas standing next to an actor who plays a villain on a popular Syrian soap opera. Hamamreh was detained in September for more than 50 days. Abbas' security forces mined social networks to catch dissenters.
