Gunfire from Gaza Hits Israeli Kibbutz

(AFP) Two bullets fired from northern Gaza on Thursday slammed into an Israeli kibbutz, causing damage but no injuries, police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said. "The shots were fired from the Gaza Strip and hit a building and a vehicle in Kibbutz Zikkim," a collective village located several hundred meters from Gaza. "It was a large weapon, much bigger than a (machine gun). It was a long-range, 0.50 caliber bullet," he said.
