A hi-tech fair in Tianjin this year showcased the Israeli flag, the only foreign flag to appear in the event's website. The Chinese culture is a culture of modesty that does not encourage forwardness and boldness. This leads to conservatism, and lack of imagination and original thinking. That is where Israel comes in. Israel, with its low level of discipline and high measure of individuality, is a perfect hotbed for innovation.
