(VOA News) David Byrd - German pilots that are part of NATO operations in Afghanistan are in Israel for training on special reconnaissance drones, learning to protect ground troops and convoys. The Germans ordered a small fleet of Heron drones from Israel Aerospace Industries to operate in the rugged Afghan terrain, where it has 4,300 troops.
