Israel-Turkey Trade Surges Despite Rift

(AP-Washington Post) Christopher Torchia - Trade between Israel and Turkey surged in the first half of this year, despite the Gaza flotilla incident. Turkish exports to Israel were nearly $1 billion in the first six months of 2010, a 40% increase over the same period in 2009, and Israeli exports to Turkey were up 21% to $645 million in the same period, according to the Israeli government.
