Red Sea Oil Leak Pollutes 100 Miles of Egyptian Coastline

(AP) Salah Nasrawi - Egypt's government confirmed Monday that oil has leaked from an offshore oil platform north of the Red Sea resort Hurghada, one of Egypt's top tourist destinations, and has polluted about 100 miles of coastline including beach resorts. Government spokesman Magdy Rady said the spill has now been largely contained, the official Middle East News Agency reported.
