(Jerusalem Post) Greer Fay Cashman and Herb Keinon - Israeli leaders joined in extending condolences to the government and people of Poland as well as to the families of the victims of the plane crash that took the lives of Polish President Lech Kaczynski and other senior dignitaries and military personnel. Prime Minister Netanyahu called Kaczynski "a Polish patriot, a great friend of Israel and a leader who did much for his people and to further world peace and prosperity." Kaczynski was an ardent promoter of the Museum of the History of Polish Jews, for which he gave the land when he was mayor of Warsaw.
