(Ha'aretz) Avi Issacharoff - A preliminary investigation by Hamas suggests that the assassination of senior Hamas official Mahmoud al-Mabhouh in Dubai on Jan. 20 was likely carried out by agents of an Arab government, and not by Israel. A Hamas source told Ha'aretz on Monday that Mabhouh was wanted by authorities in both Jordan and Egypt, where he previously spent a year in prison. On Sunday, a Dubai police commander said Mabhouh was killed by a seven-man team, four of whom had been identified.
