Iran Executes Two over Election Unrest

(Reuters-Washington Post) Iran executed two people on Thursday over widespread street unrest that erupted after the disputed presidential election in June, the Iranian ISNA students news agency reported. Eleven people have been sentenced to death on charges including waging war against God, trying to overthrow the Islamic establishment, and membership in armed groups, the agency said.
