Israeli Security Agent Testifies at Chicago Trial

[AP/WMAL] A witness in a Chicago courtroom Thursday was heard but not seen by most of those following the proceedings. The testimony came at the trial of former university professor Abdelhaleem Ashqar of Alexandria and Muhammad Salah of Illinois. An Israeli security agent told the courtroom cleared of spectators how a suburban Chicago grocer admitted under questioning he'd met secretly with Palestinian terrorist leaders. The defendants are accused of bankrolling Hamas terrorists and have pleaded not guilty to the indictment.
