Dead Sea Losing Water More Rapidly

[Ha'aretz] Zafrir Rinat - The Dead Sea has dropped more quickly in the past two years than the average for the past decade, according to Water Authority figures released this week. The average drop for 1998-2008 was 98 cm. a year, but last year the drop was 138 cm. and this year it has already dropped 113 cm. due to increased use of water feeding into the sea.
