[Bloomberg-Jerusalem Post] The Knesset Finance Committee, in a bid to block covert imports from Iran, on Tuesday approved a government plan for a 23% tax on roasted pistachio nuts. Roasted pistachios in Israel are imported through Turkey and appear to originate in Iran.
