[Hurriyet-Turkey] Relations between Turkey and Israel remain of "strategic" importance despite Ankara's severe criticism of the Israeli offensive in Gaza, Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan said Wednesday. Turkey and Israel have maintained contact throughout the crisis, the minister said, and stressed that Hamas should renounce violence.
