[Ha'aretz] Ora Coren - The U.S. pension fund giant TIAA-CREF confirmed Friday that it divested holdings worth $257,000 from Africa Israel Investments earlier this year in response to a request by the pro-Palestinian group Adalah-NY. However, Adalah-NY complained that the fund continued to invest in Israeli companies such as Israel Discount Bank, Cellcom Israel, Bezeq Israeli Telecommunications Corp., and Bank Leumi.
