Shiite Party Challenges Hizbullah in Lebanon Election

[AFP] Jihad Siqlaw - Ahmad al-Asaad has decided to stand up to the militant group Hizbullah in Lebanon's June 7 parliamentary elections. "I will topple the Iranian project," said Asaad, son of former House Speaker Kamel al-Asaad, who heads his own mainly Shiite party. "The resistance's role is over," Asaad said. "We have had enough of Hizbullah using us and exploiting the people in the name of the resistance."
