[Ha'aretz] Shlomo Shamir - Gabriela Shalev, Israel's first female ambassador to the UN, submitted her credentials Monday to Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. Shalev served as a professor of law at Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and was rector of Ono Academic College in Kiryat Ono.
