[Jerusalem Post] Senior U.S. officials said Washington was considering a possible change of policy towards Syria in the near future, which would entail canceling sanctions against the country but would not include returning the U.S. ambassador to Damascus, Israel Radio reported Sunday. The officials said discussions were being held over the best way for the U.S. to influence Syria, in light of its improved relations with France.
