Chinese Tourists Head to Israel

[People's Daily-China] The first Israel-bound Chinese tour group will depart later this month, Israeli Tourism Minister Ruhama Avraham-Balila said Thursday. Previously, Chinese tourists needed invitation letters to get business visas to visit Israel. China and Israel signed an agreement last year making Israel an approved destination for Chinese tour groups. More than 10,000 business tourists visited Israel last year, and the number is expected to rise sharply this year.
