[Ynet News] Ali Waked - The PA has dismissed 1,000 police and security officers suspected of being affiliated with Hamas, on the backdrop of fears that the recent clashes in Gaza would spread to the West Bank. A PA commission of inquiry into Hamas' 2007 takeover in Gaza found that at least one-third of the PA security officers there served as Hamas agents.
