[AP] Karin Laub - A senior Palestinian official said Wednesday the Quartet of Middle East peacemakers, including U.S. Secretary of State Rice, will meet in Egypt on Nov. 8 to assess progress in Israeli-Palestinian peace talks. Rice had asked Egypt to host the meeting before President Bush's term ends in January.
