Israel Sees Little Progress in Gaza Truce Talks

[AFP] Marius Schattner - Egyptian-brokered negotiations on a proposed truce in Gaza have made "no substantial progress," a senior Israeli official said Monday. The official said he was "rather pessimistic" after talks in Cairo on Sunday between Amos Gilad, a senior aide to Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak, and Egyptian intelligence chief Omar Suleiman.
