Iran Army Chief Targeted in Secret Mountain Compound
(Jerusalem Post) Yonah Jeremy Bob - Senior Israeli defense sources confirmed new details on Wednesday about the killing of Maj.-Gen. Ali Shademani, the Iranian military's wartime chief of staff, on Monday. The Israel Air Force eliminated his predecessor, Gholam Ali Rashid, last Friday. Shademani was killed at a secret compound in the mountains outside of Tehran along with dozens of other senior Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps officers who had fled from their main headquarters in Tehran, believing they would be safe. Instead, the IDF killed them all at the same time.
