IDF Recovers Bodies of Two Hostages Kidnapped to Gaza

(Ha'aretz) Nir Hasson - The Israeli army said Wednesday it had recovered the body of Yair Yaakov, a resident of Kibbutz Nir Oz who was kidnapped on Oct. 7, from Gaza alongside the body of another hostage. Yaakov's two children, Or and Yagil, and his partner Merav Tal, were also kidnapped from the kibbutz and were released in the first hostage deal in 2023.
