Hamas "Executing People Left and Right" to Control Gaza Aid
(Times of Israel) Nurit Yohanan - A Hamas unit known as Sahm appears to be taking brutal action against suspected looters in Gaza, said Michael Milshtein, who heads the Palestinian Studies Forum at Tel Aviv University's Dayan Center. "Everyone I speak with in Gaza talks about them. They are executing people left and right," Milshtein told the Times of Israel. A Telegram channel linked to the unit regularly publishes reports and footage of its operations. On Tuesday, the channel reported that Sahm had executed seven Gazans accused of theft and collaboration with Israel. Hamas is "a pale shadow of what it was on October 7, 2023 - but let's not be mistaken, it hasn't disappeared or vanished, not even from people's hearts," Milshtein said.
