Almost Half of Palestinians View Abraham Accords Positively
(Washington Institute for Near East Policy) Frances McDonough - 47% of Palestinians in Gaza and 63% in eastern Jerusalem express a positive view of the regional impact of the Abraham Accords, according to a poll commissioned by The Washington Institute and conducted in July 2023 by the Palestinian Center for Public Opinion. Support in the West Bank was only 27%. At the same time, Palestinians appeared more receptive to good relations with Iran than residents of most other Arab countries. 65% in Gaza, 51% in the West Bank, and 63% in eastern Jerusalem said good relations with Iran were important.
