PA Brags Fatah Gave Active Support to Islamic Jihad in Recent Gaza War
(Palestinian Media Watch) Nan Jacques Zilberdik - Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah movement did not participate in the recent fighting in Gaza. However, Fatah needs to profile itself as leading the Palestinians. Official PA TV in Gaza glorified Fatah and its military wing - the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades - "considered the spearhead in the war room." It claimed that Fatah and Islamic Jihad "acted together" as "partners in blood" against Israel.
