Israel Thwarts Terror Attack in Jerusalem
(Jerusalem Post) A planned shooting attack by Hamas on a bus carrying police officers near the Temple Mount was thwarted, the Israel Police and the Israel Security Agency announced Sunday. Omar Abedin, 21, from eastern Jerusalem, was communicating on Facebook and Telegram with a terrorist operative from Lebanon, who asked him to carry out a shooting or bombing attack and was told he would receive financial aid.
