New Israeli Satellite Enters Orbit

(Jerusalem Post) The Israeli EROS-C3 observation satellite was successfully launched from Vandenberg Space Force Base in the U.S. on Dec. 30, Israel Aerospace Industries announced. The satellite, owned by ImageSat International, used the SpaceX Falcon 9 launch vehicle. It employs a space camera capable of providing extremely high-resolution imagery for both governmental and business applications.
