85 Percent of French Jews Say Anti-Semitism Widespread in France
(European Jewish Congress) A survey on anti-Semitism published by the French Institute of Public Opinion (IFOP) in January 2022 found that 64% of the French population, and 85% of French Jews, believe that anti-Semitism is widespread in France. 68% of French Jews declared they had been subjected to mockery and 20% say they were victims of physical aggression. French people over 65 were much more likely to have anti-Semitic prejudices.
