Israel Opposes U.S. Consulate for Palestinians in Jerusalem
(Reuters) Amy Cheng - Israel will not agree to have the U.S. reopen its consulate dedicated to Palestinian affairs in Jerusalem, Israeli Justice Minister Gideon Saar said Tuesday. (Washington Post) "We will not compromise on this issue" for generations to come, Saar told a conference in Jerusalem. "I want to make it very clear...we are 100% opposed to it."
