Syrian Kurdish Fighters Tell U.S. They Have Withdrawn from Turkey's Safe Zone

(Wall Street Journal) Jessica Donati - Mazloum Abdi, head of the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces, said in a letter Tuesday to Vice President Mike Pence that Kurdish forces have completed their withdrawal from a safe zone along the Turkey-Syria border as defined under an agreement between the U.S. and Turkey last week, a senior U.S. official said.
