U.S. Sanctions Lebanese Bank for Ties to Hizbullah
(VOA News) The U.S. Treasury Department on Thursday sanctioned Lebanese Jammal Trust Bank for "brazenly enabling" the financial activities of Hizbullah, Iran's proxy in Lebanon. The bank is no longer allowed to deal with any U.S. citizen or institution. Treasury also targeted individuals in Oman who funnel cash from Iran's Quds Force to Hamas in Gaza.
