Al-Ahram: Hamas Fatwa Permits Killing Egyptian Soldiers
[AP/Jerusalem Post] The Egyptian daily Al-Ahram reported Monday that Hamas was planning to fire mortar shells at Egyptian forces on the border with Gaza and destroy Egyptian border posts with explosives, some of them planted in tunnels. The killing of Egyptian soldiers has been sanctioned by Muslim clerics in a special fatwa issued by Hamas on Friday, the report said.
