As Iran Marks Its Anniversary, Economic Woes Cloud Its Future

After the U.S. imposed new sanctions last year, the International Monetary Fund expects Iran's economy to contract by more than 3% in 2019. Each year, 150,000-180,000 educated Iranians leave the country, according to the IMF, in one of the worst brain drains in the world.
