PA Believes Hamas Terrorist Released in Shalit Prisoner Exchange Deal behind West Bank Shootings
(Ynet News) Elior Levy - Palestinian Authority officials believe the mastermind of the Hamas cell that carried out the recent shooting attacks near Ofra and Giv'at Asaf in the West Bank is Jassar Barghouti, who was released from prison in 2011 as part of the prisoner exchange deal for captured IDF soldier Gilad Shalit. After being deported to Gaza, Barghouti became involved in directing Hamas attacks in the West Bank.
