Fatah Tells Palestinians to Reject Calls for New Armed Uprising in West Bank

(Times of Israel) Adam Rasgon - Fatah spokesman Osama Qawasma called on Palestinians to ignore calls for a new armed uprising against Israel in the West Bank. "We need to be smart...and not listen to the talk of the demagogues about the necessity of going to an armed confrontation," he told the PA's Palestine TV on Thursday. Instead, "we must escalate popular resistance in the Palestinian lands."
