Arab Teenager Who Joined IDF Says "It's a Privilege"
(Ynet News) Yishai Porat - T., 19, an Arab Israeli who lives in the Jerusalem area, decided four months ago to join the Israel Border Police. "I'm proud to serve the country and it's a privilege to protect it. This is my country just as much as of anyone else who lives here," he said. Following his decision to enlist, three of his close friends decided to follow in his footsteps.
