At 70, Israel's Population is 8.842 Million

(Times of Israel) On the eve of Israel's 70th Independence Day, its population stands at 8,842,000, of whom 74.5% are Jewish, according to figures released Monday by the Central Bureau of Statistics. There are 6.589 million Jews, 1.849 million Arabs (20.9%), and 404,000 (4.6%) non-Arab Christians or others.
