Tillerson Seeks UK, French Support for New Penalties Against Iran
(AP-New York Times) U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, beginning a trip to Europe, is seeking British and French support for tough new penalties against Iran. President Donald Trump has warned he will walk away from the Iran nuclear deal unless fixes are made. A U.S. official said Tillerson's intent is "to close the gaps" in the accord and to explore more ways to counter Iranian behavior in Syria, Lebanon and Yemen.
