Egypt Angered by U.S. Aid Cut over Human Rights Concerns

(AP-Washington Post) Hamza Hendawi and Matthew Lee - Egypt reacted angrily Wednesday to the Trump administration's surprise decision to cut or delay nearly $300 million in military and economic aid over human rights concerns. The Egyptian Foreign Ministry called the U.S. decision a "misjudgment" that "reflects a lack of careful understanding of the importance of supporting the stability and success of Egypt."
