Fleeing Hamas' Harsh Rule in Gaza, Thousands of Palestinians Seek Refuge in Athens

(Ha'aretz) Zvi Bar'el - Osama fled Gaza via the tunnels that connect Gaza and Egypt. He estimates that about 6,000 Palestinian refugees from Gaza live in Athens. Many of the Palestinians have bought forged Syrian passports to accelerate the asylum process. A European asylum support agency says there are more than 45,000 Palestinian refugees in Greece, most of them residents of Syria.
