Blaming Assad, Trump Says Syria Attack "Cannot Be Tolerated"
(AP-Chicago Sun-Times) Decrying an "affront to humanity," President Donald Trump declared Wednesday that the chemical weapons attack in Syria on Tuesday "cannot be tolerated." Trump stood by his charge that Assad's forces were responsible. A U.S. official said an American review of radar assessments showed Syrian aircraft flying in the area at the time of the attack.
