Israeli Christian Arab in Air Force Pilots Course
(Israel Hayom) Lilach Shoval - An Israeli Christian Arab began the Israel Air Force pilots course three months ago. Israeli Arabs are not required to do military service but they may volunteer. Several dozen Christian Arabs are currently serving in the IDF. The IDF notes that all military roles are open to Christian Arab volunteers provided they meet the same job and security requirements as all other soldiers.
