Iran Replaces Old IR1 Centrifuges with Advanced IR8 Centrifuges

(Tasnim-Iran) Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said Monday that Iran's first-generation IR1 centrifuges have been replaced by advanced IR8 centrifuges. He added that Iran's program to develop nuclear propulsion systems will begin soon and called on the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for technical assistance.
