Names of Female Candidates Are Hidden in Palestinian Elections

(Al Bawaba-Jordan) In the Palestinian local elections scheduled for Oct. 8, some of the female candidates' names have been concealed, with the politicians being listed only as "sister" or "the wife of". The hiding of women's names is common in many countries throughout the Arab world.
