Turkey Sends More Tanks into Syria as Kurds Pull Out of Manbij
(Wall Street Journal) Emre Peker, Dion Nissenbaum and Raja Abdulrahim - A new wave of Turkish tanks rolled into northern Syria on Thursday as the military extended its fight to drive Islamic State away from the border and deter advances by American-backed Kurdish forces. Backed by American airstrikes, the Turkish military solidified its hold on the Syrian border town of Jarablus and looked to push further south in its biggest ground operation in Syria since the conflict erupted five years ago.
